Bio: He was born in 1982 in Fairfax, Virginia,

He’s best known for being an American disability advocate for down syndrome. John Franklin Stephen is fighting for the basic rights of people with down syndrome, such as himself.

Yet he is also a known as an actor and athlete. He’s been in the films: Dawn (2018), Touched by Grace (2014),& Fox Friends (1998). He has competed in the Special Olympics in the equestrian section events.

He advocates and is even an ambassador for Global Down Syndrome Foundation. He speaks out about the ethics of screening and the importance of research for down syndrome.

John Frank Stephen has given speeches to the United States of America’s Congress, one of its first congressional meetings on the subject of down syndrome and to the United Nations.

His speeches have gain much popularity and it’s impacts are immense. Personally I think his speeches are absolutely amazing. His words stuck with me. It really made me reflect on my thoughts and about society as whole. All the feelings it evoked for me, I hope it does the same for you!! So check em out!
